“We are going to keep moving forward with our plans for Sidcup LITP 2020 and will be following Government Guidelines and Local Council and Police advice. I have written to The Rt Hon Robert Jenrick MP, Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for advice as well.
But we are very aware at some point in this process we still maybe in lock down and social distancing and therefore this year’s event will be cancelled in good time if we have to.
If you wanted to volunteer for this year’s event, then please do still do that, as signing up now will help us with a speedy administration process rather than leaving it to the last minute if we get the green light.
Thank you for your flexibility, generosity and support.”
Team Leader of LITP
Lark in the Park Sidcup is a great place to volunteer and the event can only be made possible because of all the amazing people who do volunteer.
There are many benefits to volunteering, including training, lunch, team work, encouragement and experience. Volunteers gain so much from their time and people from all around the world have volunteered with us.
There are many, many roles you can help with from kids clubs to stewarding, security, catering, administration, crafts, fun days, youth work, our over 60s venue, registration team and so much more. What ever you love doing, we are sure there is a role you can apply for.
Safeguarding is important to us. You can read our policy here: LITP Safeguarding policy
